Welcome to my Portfolio
I was born in Athens in 1970. I lived and worked in Greece until 2011. From 2017 I am based in Doha Qatar where I work as an airline pilot.
In early 2000’s, I read a book (“Εισαγωγή στην Καλλιτεχνική Φωτογραφία”) by Mr Plato Rivellis, the founder of Photography Circle in Athens which made me want to discover further the world of photography and use it as an artistic form of expression.
I attended Mr Rivellis’s various seminars for both photography and cinema, all of which influenced the way I perceive both forms of art.
I am happy to be a member of Photography Circle and share it's common values with the other members whose work I admire a lot.
I take pictures because of the immense joy of the process. The anticipation of the outcome for the ‘catch’ that often ends up being nothing more than
“…a walk out with the camera”. ….which is also ok!
The greatest challenge I face with photography, is to constantly evolve my photographic language.
and to include it in my everyday life considering the family and professional obligations.
